FAQ

How many helmets are in Welding Simulator?
We track thirteen helmet-related entries from official Roblox data on 2026-10-19: eleven R$ 49 helmet game passes, the VIP golden helmet bundled with VIP, and Ice Helmet (off sale). Galaxy and Solid Gold also exist as developer-product records but are not sold that way while the pass versions are available.
Do helmets change weld stats?
Official helmet pass text focuses on appearance. Whether any helmet changes income or grades beyond VIP's separate +20% income perk is not documented. We treat standalone helmet passes as cosmetic unless Roblox text says otherwise.
How do you wear a helmet?
Official game pass wording says you wear it around the shop and flip it down when you weld. We have not re-verified animations in-game on 2026-10-19.
How do you get the Ice Helmet?
Unknown. Roblox lists an Ice Helmet game pass and a matching developer product, both not for sale as of 2026-10-19. No official description states an unlock quest or code.
Which helmet is the rarest?
Conflicting official text: Solid Gold Helmet and Dragon Helmet game passes each call themselves the rarest helmet in the shop. We report both claims and do not rank them.
Are helmets the same as game pass income boosts?
No. Cash multipliers live on passes like 2x Cash and VIP. Helmets are mostly cosmetics sold separately; see /items/game-passes/ for the full pass list.

How many helmets does Welding Simulator have?

Thirteen helmet-related entries in our 2026-10-19 Roblox snapshot: eleven themed helmets sold as R$ 49 game passes, the golden helmet included with VIP, and Ice Helmet (listed but not for sale). Prices are Robux; confirm on the live store (read date 2026-10-19).

Gameplay copy tied to helmets: wear them around the shop and flip them down when you weld (official pass wording, Roblox product-info, 2026-10-19).

Developer-product duplicates (not separate helmet shops)

Roblox also returns developer product rows for Solid Gold Helmet, Galaxy Helmet, and Ice Helmet, all not for sale on 2026-10-19. The game pass versions of Solid Gold and Galaxy are the purchasable routes today. Treat the developer rows as alternate product types, not extra shop SKUs.

Is the VIP golden helmet the same as Solid Gold Helmet?

No—they are separate SKUs in Roblox data. The VIP game pass (R$ 149) bundles a golden helmet plus +20% all income, chat tags, and an overhead marker. The Solid Gold Helmet game pass (R$ 49) is a standalone cosmetic whose description claims it is the “rarest helmet in the shop.” Official text does not say the VIP helmet uses the same 3D model as Solid Gold. We list both because players search each name independently.

Neon Cyber Helmet is the only helmet pass whose description highlights a glow effect. Other themed passes (Viking, Shark, Jack-o’-Lantern, Dragon, etc.) are treated as flavor variants unless future API text adds mechanics.

Which helmets pair with income passes?

Helmet cosmetics are separate from cash game passes. If you are comparing 2x Cash, 3x Cash, or VIP, use /items/game-passes/—VIP happens to include a golden helmet, but income rules are documented there, not on this page.

Repeatable Cash Bag / Crate / Vault purchases are yet another category: /items/cash-packs-guide/.

Sources and what we could not verify

Sources used (2026-10-19):

  • apis.roblox.com/game-passes/v1/game-passes/<id>/product-info — helmet passes, VIP bundle text, Ice Helmet off-sale flag.
  • apis.roblox.com/developer-products/v2/universes/10769685371/developerproducts?limit=100 — duplicate helmet product types and sale flags.

Still unverified:

  • Ice Helmet unlock or grant method.
  • Whether any cosmetic helmet changes grades, weld pay, or shop income (beyond VIP’s documented +20% on the VIP pass itself).
  • Which helmet, if any, is actually rarest given conflicting “rarest” strings.
